Karl Merkatz

Karl Merkatz, a renowned Austrian actor and writer, entered this world on November 17, 1930, in the charming city of Wiener Neustadt, situated in the picturesque province of Lower Austria, Austria. Throughout his illustrious career, Merkatz gained recognition for his outstanding performances in several notable films, including the iconic "Der Bockerer" (1981),its sequel "Der Bockerer 2" (1996),and the fourth installment of the series, "Der Bockerer IV - Prager Frühling" (2003). In his personal life, Karl Merkatz was married to the lovely Martha Metz. Unfortunately, his life came to a close on December 4, 2022, in the beautiful town of Straßwalchen, nestled in the stunning province of Salzburg, Austria.
