Karen Khunkhun's broadcasting career began at a young age, as she started her on-air journey at Vancouver's Co-OP Radio - 102.7 CFRO while still studying in university. This early start in radio led to her move to the promotions department at 99.3 The Fox, where she continued to hone her marketing skills. Two years later, she received an opportunity to return to Vancouver, where she rejoined the radio scene as a part of the popular Larry & Willy morning show.
As her experience and expertise grew, Karen took on new challenges, transitioning from radio to television. She started at CityTV, working on their Breakfast Show, entertainment specials, and as the community events spokesperson. Her career in broadcasting has spanned the spectrum, from weekend weather-casting for CTV News to hosting the afternoon radio show at CFOX.
Throughout her career, Karen has received numerous accolades, including being named one of Vancouver's News Beauties in The Province newspaper and one of B.C.'s 10 Most Beautiful People in TV Week magazine. She has also won three Georgia Straight Awards for "Most Underrated TV Personality" and two consecutive years for radio's "Best Afternoon Show" as part of the Todd & Karen Show, as well as Westender's "Best Afternoon DJs".
