Karen Ann "Karencitta" Cabrera, also known as Karedad, is a multi-talented individual who has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. Born on October 5th, 1995, in Cebu City, Philippines, she has been showcasing her star quality since a young age.
As a child, Karencitta would often participate in beauty and talent contests, and at the tender age of four, she made her first live television appearance on Little Miss Philippines, Eat Bulaga (G.M.A.),where she was a Grand Finalist as Little Miss Friendship 2000.
Karencitta's music career began to take off in 2014 with the release of her first mix-tape "So Help Me God Vol. 1", which earned her recognition in the Hip-Hop community as Abra's only Femcee during his Grand Concert, ABRA2013. She went on to join the ABRA2013 Tour with LDP, Loonie, Ron Henley, Mike Swift, J-Hon, and many more.
In 2015, Karencitta landed her leading role in Omri Dorani's "Funny Man", which marked her feature film debut. Her comedy skits on Facebook, uploaded in November 2016, quickly went viral and made her an instant internet sensation. To date, she has garnered over 5,000,000 views from her short-form comedy skits and boasts an impressive following of over 700,000 internet fans.
Karencitta has also made a name for herself in the world of television, serving as a judge for Miss Philippines U.S.A. 2018 on July 22nd, 2018. Her music has been signed to Capitol Records, and she has released several hit singles, including the Sinulog Electronic-Dance-Pop smash hit "Cebuana", which topped the charts on Spotify and had over one million views in just 24 hours.
In addition to her entertainment career, Karencitta has also ventured into endorsement deals with prominent brands such as Globe, Pepsi, and Sheena Beaute Centre. She is set to film a movie in the Philippines called 'Indak' alongside co-stars Yassi Pressman and Ella Cruz in Summer 2018.
