Kaprice, a self-taught and proactive filmmaker, spent his formative years in London. In 1993, before the widespread use of the internet, he founded and hosted "Peeping Tom's," a groundbreaking club in the heart of Soho. This innovative venture provided a free information and networking resource for emerging film professionals, serving the "new wave" of the industry, for a period of seven years.
As a screenwriter, director, and rapidly following his acclaimed short film "Honeymoon Beyond," Kaprice made his 35mm feature film debut with "the hurting." This significant milestone marked the beginning of his journey as a feature film director.
In January 2000, Kaprice made a bold decision, relocating to Thailand to set up his second feature film, "Butterfly Man." To support himself during this period, he took on directing TV commercials.
Once "Butterfly Man" was completed, Kaprice shifted his focus to sharing his directing skills and experience in international film. He founded fluid (registered as fluid film co ltd),with a mission to cultivate a pool of quality actors. Within a short span of time, fluid secured an exclusive reputation for representing screen actors that met the expectations and demands of foreign producers shooting in Thailand.
Until the pandemic, Kaprice's tireless efforts, including prepping, repping, and strategizing, enabled Bangkok-based actors to land speaking roles on prominent movies, laying the foundation for their careers. New generations of aspiring actors continue to attend his screen acting workshops, which remain active to this day.
Throughout his career, Kaprice has remained busy, directing two more feature films, casting twelve international productions, and accumulating a diverse range of credits, including producer, editor, assistant director, screenwriter, script consultant, dialogue editor, dialogue coach, acting coach, and actor.
