Kalama Epstein, the youngest of three children, was born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, where his first name, meaning "flaming torch" in Hawaiian, reflects his fiery passion for the performing arts. With a lifelong fascination with film and filmmaking, Kalama's innate talent for modeling and performing was evident from a very young age. His early start in the industry led to a co-starring role on an episode of Hawaii Five-0 in 2010, which sparked a newfound enthusiasm for being in front of the camera.
