Justice A. Whitaker is a multifaceted creative force, excelling as a Writer/Director/Producer in the entertainment industry. As a member of the Writers Guild of America (WGA),he has contributed to notable projects such as Sesame Street and Moonbug Entertainment.
One of his most notable directorial endeavors is the hour-long documentary "Milestone Generations" (HBO MAX, 2022),a collaborative effort with Ally and DC that delves into the 30-year history of Milestone Comics.
Whitaker is currently co-directing a documentary film about the Full Circle Expedition, the pioneering all-Black team that successfully summited Mt. Everest. This project is a joint production with Westbrook Studios and REI Studios, slated for release in 2023.
Throughout his career, Justice has demonstrated a strong commitment to telling stories that highlight the global African Diaspora. He has written two feature screenplays set in West Africa and multiple TV pilots that explore the Black experience in America.
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Justice is also a professor of Non-Fiction Storytelling and Narrative Screenwriting at Pratt University's Film School in Brooklyn, where he resides with his wife, Rolake Bamgbose Whitaker, a fellow documentarian.
