Julie Vasquez Nunis, a remarkable individual, was born in the charming city of Carlsbad, New Mexico, a place where her paternal grandfather, Ignacio Gomez Vasquez, made a name for himself as a skilled farmer, dedicating his days to cultivating cotton and hay with precision and care.
Julie embarked on a remarkable educational odyssey, commencing with the acquisition of a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from the esteemed University of Texas at Austin, a feat she accomplished in 1984.
As her affinity for the performing arts continued to flourish, Julie pursued further studies in Clown, Movement, and Shakespeare at the renowned NYC's The Actor's Center in the year 2000.
Upon relocating to the City of Angels, Julie embarked on a new chapter in her career, serving as a tour guide at the iconic Universal Studios Hollywood.
Subsequently, Julie had the privilege of collaborating with the illustrious Broadway Producer Joan Stein during the production of Steve Martin's acclaimed play, Picasso at the Lapin Agile.

During this tenure, she was able to apply the knowledge and skills she had acquired during her internship to produce and direct her first short film, a documentary titled Jazz v. Punk: Hermosa Beach.
