Biography

Julian Griffith, an identical twin, was born in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois. Alongside his brother, he began his acting journey at the tender age of three, with numerous individuals approaching their mother, expressing their awe and suggesting that they would be perfect for film roles. By the time he turned five, Julian had already made a name for himself in the modeling industry, featuring in various children's school books.

As he grew older, Julian's acting career continued to flourish. In the year 2000, at the age of ten, he landed his first principal role as "Jefferson Albert Tibbs" in the movie Hardball, starring the renowned actors Keanu Reeves and Diane Lane. The film's success was remarkable, grossing over $40 million and topping the box office for several weeks. Following this acclaimed performance, Julian decided to take a break from the film industry at the age of 13, prioritizing his education and baseball.

After completing high school, Julian pursued his passion for baseball, attending St. Joseph's College (NCAA-D2) and Calumet College of St. Joseph (NAIA). During his time in college, he achieved impressive stats, posting a.324 batting average, tying for first place in stolen bases in his senior season, and earning the Most Valuable Player award. However, a season-ending injury led to UCL reconstruction surgery on his elbow, forcing him to reevaluate his priorities.

Julian's transition back into the film industry began, and in 2013, he made history by becoming the first Black man to graduate from Calumet College's Education program with an Elementary Education degree and a Science Endorsement for Secondary Education.

Julian's professional baseball career took off, with him signing three contracts with the Fort Worth Cats of the United League. He posted a.324 batting average and had the privilege of playing alongside the legendary Julio Franco in 2014. Eventually, Julian decided to hang up his baseball cleats and focus on acting full-time.

Today, Julian is the proud owner of Juiced Up Athletics, a traveling sports training company that empowers youth in baseball, softball, and other areas of fitness. When not acting, Julian dedicates his time to public speaking and mentoring in the Chicagoland area. He has since transitioned back into acting, appearing in various shows and films, including the popular NBC series "One Chicago" universe.
