Born Jose Carlos Perez in Havana, Cuba, at the tender age of four, Julian, his parents, and family embarked on a journey to the United States, transiting through Spain before settling in Tampa, Florida.
Following high school, Julian served in the esteemed 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army, specializing as an airborne infantry paratrooper. Upon completing his service with an honorable discharge, he pursued higher education under the veteran's assistant program, which marked the beginning of his acting career.
Julian's breakthrough role was as Nico in the suspenseful film noir "Lying Right Here", which premiered at the Sixth Annual Hollyshorts in 2010. The film received The Audience Choice Award, a testament to Flynn's exceptional performance.
In addition to his acting endeavors, Julian has collaborated with Joseph Armillas as co-writer and co-producer on an action thriller, "The Last Hit". The film is currently in pre-production, with principal photography scheduled to commence this winter in 2023.
