Jude Gerard Prest has a vast and accomplished career in the entertainment industry, having directed, produced, and overseen hundreds of hours of broadcast, syndicated, cable, and international programming.
Prest's original screenplay, HARRY'S FILE, won the Grand Jury Prize at the Film Invasion Los Angeles International Film Festival in September 2016, and the feature film in which he co-starred, CAN I GET A WITNESS PROTECTION, premiered at the Burbank International Film Festival the same month.
As Co-Executive Producer, Showrunner, and VP of Development and Production for Full Throttle Marketing, Prest has overseen the development and production of a wide range of scripted and non-scripted programming since 2013.
Prest has also worked extensively as an executive producer, co-executive producer, creator, supervising producer, and director for numerous series and specials for various networks, including ABC, Universal-NBC Sports, CBS, UPN, FOX, PBS, Discovery, National Geographic, A&E, The Travel Channel, Sony Pictures Television, SYFY, The History Channel, HGTV, Comedy Central, Fox, Animal Planet, VH1, Court TV, and 20th Century Fox.
He has directed, produced, and overseen both scripted and non-scripted projects, including a popular adaptation of Neil Gaiman's short story, WE CAN GET THEM FOR YOU WHOLESALE, which features visual effects by Catalyst Media and sets, special effects, and props by Global Effects.
Prest owns the media rights to and has adapted the screenplay for the powerful memoir, THE LOS ANGELES DIARIES, which is in development with Academy Award-winning director Steven Soderbergh as a consultant and advisor.
He was also the executive producer, co-creator, director, and showrunner of a pilot for The Travel Channel special, CITY SWAPPERS, and served as showrunner and director for the hit ABC Saturday series, OCEAN MYSTERIES, with Jeff Corwin.
Prest recently served as showrunner and director for the hit Nat Geo Wild special, 700 CATS, narrated by Jane Lynch, and has overseen hundreds of hours of programming on six continents in over 100 countries.
In addition to his work behind the camera, Prest has also worked extensively as a screen and stage actor, writer, and voice-over actor.
