Judah Bellamy was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, where he was blessed with an extraordinary gift for the arts. From a very young age, he possessed a remarkable clarity of focus and an unwavering passion for the performing arts. As a child, Judah made up his mind to become an actor, and his ultimate dream was to play the iconic role of Young Simba in the Broadway production of The Lion King. He worked tirelessly towards this goal, and his perseverance paid off in 2011 when he landed the role after a series of auditions and callbacks.
Judah's two-year stint at The Lion King provided him with an incredible education in his craft, as well as the opportunity to make lifelong friends and connections in the industry. He also gained valuable experience in the commercial world, booking numerous national commercials and appearing in an indie film called Home. It was during the filming of Home that Judah discovered his passion for filmmaking, which would go on to play a significant role in shaping his future path.
After leaving The Lion King, Judah joined the original cast of Matilda on Broadway, playing the principal role of Tommy. This experience further honed his skills and broadened his horizons, and he eventually decided to focus his attention on film and television.
In 2014, Judah landed the role of Jake in the Amazon original series Just Add Magic, which has since become the most popular children's show on the platform. He spent three seasons working on the series, learning valuable lessons about network television, filming, and editing.
Today, Judah resides in Los Angeles, where he is pursuing his passion for filmmaking by attending college and working on his acting career. He remains dedicated to his craft, and his love for film, jazz, and hip-hop continues to inspire and motivate him.
