Joshua J. Ballard's illustrious career spans multiple decades, with his first notable appearance being in a Pert commercial at the tender age of two, where he donned a Speedo alongside other muscular individuals. This was followed by a stage production of 'Grease' at the age of five, showcasing his early talent.
Throughout his career, Josh has lent his voice to various projects, including the animated feature Mune, where he played the titular character. He is also an accomplished singer and dancer, boasting an impressive list of accolades, including winning Best Junior Vocal at the Kiwanis Festival in 2007, 2009, and 2012, as well as Junior Song & Dance at the Shine Festival in 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2012.
As a founding member of the OTW Hip Hop Crew, Josh has also had the opportunity to work with other notable artists, including serving as a backup dancer for My Name Is Kay at the WE festival, as well as for Marianas Trench and in Disney's Desiree music video.
In addition to his work in film and television, Josh has also appeared in the 2012 film Becoming Redwood, which won the Audience Award for Most Popular Canadian Film as well as Honourable Mention for Best Canadian Feature Film at the 2012 Vancouver Film Festival.
Josh has also had a recurring role in the Dreamworks series Falling Skies, as well as leading roles in Gumboot Kids and supporting roles in White Noise 2: The Light and When Calls the Heart. He has also made guest appearances in R.L. Stine's the Haunting Hour and Psych.
Throughout his career, Josh has consistently demonstrated his passion for performing and is excited to work with the cast and crew of Pants on Fire in 2014.
