Josh Huculiak is a renowned filmmaker who has garnered international recognition for his work, beginning his career with documentaries and music videos that have garnered prestigious awards such as the Prism Prize for his film "Unamerican" and a Juno nomination for his film "Record Shop".
He made his debut in the feature film world with "Violent", which received widespread acclaim at Karlovy Vary and San Sebastian film festivals, earning him the Best Canadian Film award at VIFF and the Best BC Film award at VFCC.
As an alumnus of the TIFF Talent Lab, Strategic Partners, and the Rotterdam Lab, Josh has had the opportunity to hone his craft and develop his skills as a filmmaker.
Josh is currently embarking on a new chapter in his career, with his films "Kryptic" premiering at SXSW and "Island Between Tides" premiering at Cinequest in 2024.
In addition to his work as a filmmaker, Josh has also launched his own company, GARDEN, in partnership with Shaelin Fritzsch.
