Biography

Joseph D McGee, also professionally known as J.D. Hawk, embarked on his creative journey in Hartford, Connecticut, initially venturing into the world of writing in 2016, producing both fiction and non-fiction literary works. As his passion for writing continued to flourish, he established McGee Productions in 2016, catering to the video production needs of clients based on the East Coast.

Following the untimely passing of his father, Stephen McGee, McGee Productions underwent a rebranding, transforming into Hawk Studios. Today, McGee, now operating under the Hawk Studios umbrella, is a multifaceted professional, offering his expertise as a writer, director of photography, producer, and director to clients across the United States.

Throughout his illustrious career, McGee has earned an impressive ten awards as an independent filmmaker, solidifying his reputation as a talented and accomplished creator in the industry.
