Joseph Makkar's journey in storytelling began early in life, with a scholarship to acting school at the tender age of ten. He continued to hone his craft through performances in theatre and films, with his education sponsored by prominent aerospace and research firms from grade school to his freshman year in high school.
Joseph's high school teacher recognized his potential and encouraged him to apply to The Los Angeles County High School Of the Arts (LACHSA),which he was fortunate enough to be accepted into. Under the guidance of his mentor, Chip Fields, Joseph thrived in LACHSA's rigorous theatre department.
After completing his studies, Joseph made a significant career shift to pursue his passion for animals. He continued his education to consult for and staff veterinary hospitals, eventually landing a role at Veterinary Staff Unlimited, one of the largest veterinary-specific staffing and consulting firms in the country.
Joseph's academic pursuits didn't stop there. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree in management and MBA degree from Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business.
Despite his many accomplishments, Joseph's love for his family remains unparalleled. He has been married for over 20 years and is the proud father of three beautiful daughters.
