Jorgo, a multilingual director and scriptwriter, was born in a small town in Greece, where he spent his childhood before his family relocated to Germany. He then attended high school in both Canby, Oregon, USA, and Welzheim, Germany.
Following his high school graduation, Jorgo pursued higher education in Communications and Film, initially completing his intermediate diploma in Communication Sciences at the prestigious Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany.
In 1998, he successfully completed his directing studies at the renowned Baden-Württemberg Film Academy in Germany. This marked the beginning of his illustrious career as a director and scriptwriter, which would soon establish him as one of the most celebrated German-Greek filmmakers in Europe, particularly in Germany and Greece.
Notably, Jorgo has directed all episodes of two TV mini-series in Greece, "42 °C" and "Card Postal", garnering numerous accolades and widespread acclaim for his work. His films, event movies, DVD films, and features have consistently demonstrated his mastery of the international visual language and directorial quality.
Jorgo's impressive range and versatility enable him to excel in most film genres, fueled by his deep passion for cinema and unwavering professionalism. Currently, he is set to direct the highly anticipated "The S.O.S. Christmas" and "Never Love Again", with more offers for directing and producing awaiting negotiation.
