Jorge Olguín is a renowned filmmaker, particularly in the fantasy genre, hailing from Chile. He earned his degree from the prestigious Film School at the University of Arts and Social Sciences, ARCIS. While still a student, Olguín made his directorial debut in 2000 with the film "Ángel negro", a groundbreaking project that premiered with a modest budget of $25,000. Olguín's most recent project, "Análogos", is a science fiction drama starring senior citizens, which has received critical acclaim and awards at international film festivals. The film was released in Chilean theaters in January 2024, earning praise from both critics and specialized media.
