Jordan's career in television and film began with her appearing in episodes of Criminal Minds, Nickelodeon's Big Time Rush, and the Cameron Diaz film Bad Teacher. She also voiced the character Ripley in the animated series CHADAM, which aired on Warner Brothers/HD Films.
As an independent film actress, Jordan has completed over 25 projects, including several festival-bound films. Her lead role as Elizabeth/Dorothy in Breaking Glass Pictures' feature film After the Wizard earned her recognition at The International Family Film Festival and was released in the U.S., U.K., Germany, China, and South Korea.
Jordan's work in film also includes her role as Crystal Woodman Miller in The Columbine Project, a 2014 production, and as the daughter of Brian Scannell in The Wolves of Savin Hill, which premiered at the 2014 San Diego Film Festival and won several awards.
In addition to her acting career, Jordan is an award-winning writer. Her screenplay Everything earned a Silver Award at the International Independent Film Awards, and she won 3rd place in the Los Angeles Shorts Fest Screenplay Competition. She was also a Semi-Finalist in the Awareness Film Festival's short script competition.
Jordan's acting awards include the 2015 Young Entertainer Award for Best Actress in the short film God Hates Signs, and the 2013 Young Artist Award for Best Actress for her performance in After the Wizard. She was also nominated for her performances in The Wolves of Savin Hill and Detention.
Awards and recognition for Jordan also include her win of the 2011 Young Artist Award for Best Actress in a Voice Over role for her performance as Ripley in CHADAM, and her recognition at the 2010 Young Artist Awards for Best Performance in a TV Series, Guest Starring Young Actress, for her performance in Criminal Minds. She was honored with a CARE (Child Actor Recognition Event) Award in 2009, 2010, and 2011.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Jordan began her career in radio at the age of six, doing weather reports for Clear Channel. She later relocated to South Florida and pursued acting in community theatre. She now resides in Los Angeles and has studied at the Yale Conservatory for Actors, Sanford Meisner Center, The Second City, and The Groundlings.
Jordan is an active fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She is also a supporter of the March of Dimes and assists her Chicago family with their annual March of Dimes fundraiser. In her free time, Jordan enjoys writing, photography, casting, and is an avid NBA fan. She has a fraternal twin brother.
