Jordan Canning's films have garnered international recognition, showcasing at prestigious festivals such as the Tribeca Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, and Interfilm Berlin. Her inaugural feature, We Were Wolves, premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. Two years later, her sophomore effort, Suck It Up, debuted at Slamdance 2017, subsequently winning the Best Feature Film award at the 2017 B3 Frankfurt Biennale.
In addition to her feature film work, Canning has directed numerous television series, including two seasons of the critically acclaimed and award-winning Schitt's Creek, which garnered Golden Globe and Emmy Awards. Her television credits include hour-long dramas such as Saving Hope (2012),Burden of Truth (2018),Nurses (2020),Family Law (2021),Pretty Hard Cases (2021),and Astrid and Lilly Save the World (2022),as well as half-hour comedies like Baroness Von Sketch Show (2016),The Lake (2022),and Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock (2022).
Throughout her career, Canning has received numerous accolades, including two Canadian Screen Awards and a DGC Award for her direction.
