Joni's formative years were spent in Bellevue, Washington, where she initially discovered her passion for the performing arts at the tender age of six, beginning her journey in school plays. This early exposure to the world of entertainment laid the groundwork for her future endeavors.
In 1996, she was initially hired for a brief stint as an extra on the film "The Postman," starring the renowned actor Kevin Costner. However, this opportunity unexpectedly blossomed into a three-month project, ultimately prompting Joni to make the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles shortly after the film's completion.
