Jonas Hämmerle, a multifaceted individual, was born on January 4, 1998, in Ditzingen-Heimerdingen, Germany. As a young boy, he relocated to Berlin, where he spent his formative years attending the prestigious German-American John-F.-Kennedy School. This esteemed institution provided him with a solid educational foundation, which he would later build upon by taking a gap year to broaden his horizons.
Following his gap year, Jonas pursued higher education at the University of Glasgow, where he majored in Film & Television and Theatre Studies. This academic pursuit not only honed his creative skills but also instilled in him a deeper appreciation for the arts.
When not engaged in academic or creative pursuits, Jonas is an avid sports enthusiast. He has a keen interest in tennis, baseball, and dance, and has even practiced gymnastics during his youth. Music, too, holds a special place in his heart, as he is an accomplished musician, proficient in playing the cello, trumpet, euphonium, and electric bass guitar. He has had the opportunity to showcase his musical talents in his school's orchestra, band, and choir.
Jonas's foray into the world of acting began at the tender age of eight, when he applied to a children's casting agency and landed a role in a TV commercial for a prominent car manufacturer. This early exposure to the entertainment industry paved the way for his debut in the family drama Vater aus Liebe (2008),where he played a leading role. The following year, he made his cinematic debut in the fantasy movie Das Morphus-Geheimnis (2008),alongside esteemed actors Oliver Korittke and Michael Roll.
However, it was his starring role as Wickie in the live-action film Wickie und die starken Männer (2009) and its sequel Vicky and the Treasure of the Gods (2011) that catapulted him to fame, cementing his status as a rising star in the world of entertainment.
