Biography

Jon Lindstrom, a talented Emmy nominee, award-winning actor, director, and screenwriter, was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. His early introduction to acting and filmmaking came from his father, Robert, a TV advertising executive, who cast him in several local TV commercials. His mother, Sue, was a surgical nurse and homemaker, and his older brother, Jeff, is an Electronic Engineer. The entire extended family is passionate about the visual arts, with members involved in photography, painting, and more.

Jon's career has seen numerous highlights, including his feature directorial debut, How We Got Away with It, which received critical praise and numerous film festival awards and nominations. He also performed a major role and served as co-screenwriter and co-producer for the film. His work as an actor has included roles in films such as What Happens Next, The Sacrifice, and The Double Born, earning him an Angel Film Award for Best Ensemble Cast.

Jon has also made a name for himself in television, with long-running parts on As the World Turns and General Hospital, earning him an Emmy nomination as Lead Actor in a Drama Series. His other TV credits include NCIS, Drop Dead Diva, Blue Bloods, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, among others.

Music has always played a significant role in Jon's creative and professional journey. A lifelong drummer, he was part of the band The High Lonesome, which recorded the album "Feel Free To Do So" and garnered industry praise. The band recently recorded new songs for their 2010 release, "The High Lonesome Collector's Album 1995-2010".
