Jon Doscher is a multifaceted creative force, excelling as a director, actor, writer, and producer across a wide range of feature films and documentaries. His impressive body of work includes notable projects such as Remedy, This Thing of Ours, Anyone's Son, and 4Chosen, to name just a few.
In 2004, Jon launched Starline Films, which he later sold in 2015. However, he reacquired the company in 2020 and has since restructured it. He is currently collaborating with esteemed filmmakers Nick Vallelonga and Jim Young on a slate of new projects.
Jon is also hard at work on his screenplay, Under the Milky Way, and has secured the direction of Old Stone Face by the renowned Jim Sheridan. His impressive career trajectory is a testament to his unwavering dedication to his craft.
Born and raised in northern New Jersey, Jon's entrepreneurial spirit led him to build and sell a restoration company as well as a publishing business before pursuing his passion for filmmaking. Heeding the advice of industry legend Jack Nicholson, Jon trained at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City.
Following his training, Jon's friend and actor Danny Aiello encouraged him to begin auditioning, and he was soon cast in the film This Thing of Ours, starring the legendary James Caan. Jon's subsequent roles in films and his starring turn in the Off-Broadway production, Rain Delay, solidified his status as a talented and versatile performer.
After establishing Starline Films, Jon produced and co-starred in Remedy alongside a talented cast that included Frank Vincent, Vincent Pastore, and Ace Frehley, the legendary lead guitarist of KISS.
