Biography

John, the son of renowned science fiction writer Raylyn Moore, and stepson of acclaimed writer Ward Moore, embarked on a remarkable career in the film industry, initially as a film editor, before transitioning to writing and directing.

Beyond his notable screenplays, John has demonstrated his versatility as a writer by penning short stories that have garnered prestigious awards, including a recognition from the esteemed Adelphi Academy in New York. His literary work has also been featured in the respected "Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction".

In 2011, John showcased his directing skills with the supernatural thriller "Shadows", starring the talented William Hurt and Cary Elwes. This cinematic masterpiece received widespread acclaim, including the 2011 Best Film award at the prestigious Bram Stoker International Film Festival in England, as well as the Best Horror Film accolade at the 2011 Fantasy Horror Awards in Italy.
