John Paul Rice started his film career in Georgia, working on notable productions such as Jerry Bruckheimer's Remember the Titans (2000) starring Denzel Washington, and We Were Soldiers (2002) featuring Mel Gibson.
In 2001, John secured a position at Senator International, a Los Angeles-based film finance, sales, and production company, which was later renamed Mandate Pictures. Under the leadership of industry veteran Joseph Drake, John developed a passion for producing independent feature films.
In 2008, John founded No Restrictions Entertainment alongside filmmaker Edgar Michael Bravo, and together they produced critically acclaimed films, including One Hour Fantasy Girl (2009),The Magic Stone (2016),Memories of a Lost Love (2011),Mark's Secret to Eternal Life (2013),A Nice Quiet Life (2018),and A Child's Voice (2018).
Their films showcase bold, authentic, and real-life stories of survival in the face of uncertainty, with a focus on hope and love for a better world. The team is currently preparing for their seventh feature, Game Day (2021),solidifying their commitment to creating impactful and thought-provoking cinematic experiences.
