John Massey is a renowned theatre artist, boasting an impressive 25-year career in regional theatre across North America. His extensive credits include iconic roles such as Howard Cunningham in Happy Days - A New Musical, where he mesmerized audiences with his captivating performance.

Throughout his illustrious career, John has had the privilege of playing a wide range of characters. Some of his notable roles include The Piano Player in Gunmetal Blues for Ensemble Theatre of Santa Barbara, Mr. Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors and Herr Schultz in Cabaret for the Moonlight Amphitheater.

In addition to his impressive acting credits, John has also showcased his versatility as a director, musical director, pianist, conductor, and vocal arranger. He has staged and/or conducted over 75 productions, with a particular fondness for Sweeney Todd, Quilters, Weird Romance, The Secret Garden, Chess, Jesus Christ Superstar, A Little Night Music, Beehive, and Ruthless!

Furthermore, John has composed incidental music for several plays and is currently researching ideas for a new musical. He is also in the process of recording his debut CD, solidifying his status as a true theatrical renaissance man.
