John Lawrence, a renowned filmmaker, has left an indelible mark on the world of cinema with his work on a trio of cult classics. The first of these, Savage Abduction, was released in 1973 and showcased Lawrence's ability to craft a gripping narrative that kept audiences on the edge of their seats. Prior to this, he had already made a name for himself with The Incredible 2-Headed Transplant, a 1971 film that pushed the boundaries of what was considered acceptable in the world of science fiction. And, going all the way back to 1967, Lawrence's The Glory Stompers cemented his status as a master of the exploitation genre, with its blend of gritty realism and over-the-top action sequences.
