John's academic journey at Harvard University was marked by his dedication to training through the American Repertory Theater. As an undergraduate, he honed his craft on stage, taking on various roles that showcased his versatility as a performer. He played Haemon in the classic tragedy Antigone, Billy in the musical Anything Goes, Cain in the musical Children of Eden, Oscar in the comedy Sweet Charity, and even starred as one of four actors in an original play comprising five one-act comedies. This original play received critical acclaim at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
John's television career has seen him appear as a guest lead for ABC on the popular drama series "The Practice" in 1997, and as a supporting lead in Kathryn Bigelow's 20th Century Fox pilot, "High School Undercover". More recently, he completed a supporting role in the critically acclaimed film "Proof" (2004),directed by John Madden, alongside the talented Gwyneth Paltrow. In the summer of 2004, John traveled to Romania to shoot the lead role in not one, but two films: "Return of the Living Dead 4: Necropolis" (2005) and "Return of the Living Dead 5: Rave to the Grave" (2005).
