John's journey began in Jackson, Tennessee, where he was surrounded by a family of talented singers on both his mother's and father's side. He started singing in church as a young boy, then began learning to play the piano, which eventually led to a deep passion for music, songwriting, and performing that developed when he was just 15 years old.
As he entered high school, John joined the Advanced Choir and later the All-West Choir, where he received praise for his exceptional vocal talent. He then audition fored his first theatrical play during his senior year, impressing the director with his acting abilities, despite it being his first time on stage.
After high school, John attended college and began performing at various venues across Tennessee and neighboring states, taking on small roles in a few short films. He eventually made the bold decision to move to Los Angeles, California, to fully pursue his dreams of acting and singing.
In Los Angeles, John studied Voice Acting under the renowned Janet Wilcox at UCLA and took voice lessons from the legendary International Singer, John Davies. He began booking more Voice-Over and acting roles, while also studying extensively under improv at the Groundlings, Westside Comedy Theater, and Rogue Improv, and taking acting classes under coach Jonathon Trent. As his career progressed, he started booking bigger roles in larger projects.
John's desire to see more diverse stories in Hollywood and media led him to start producing his own content, including his comedy sketch series, "Deliver The Funny". He also produced, wrote, and acted in his multi-award-winning short film, "Emotical", for which he won the "Best Actor" award. Moreover, he was recently nominated for "Best Supporting Actor" in the short film, "Curtain Call".
John's extensive filmography includes leading roles in feature films such as "Memoirs of a Vixen", "Reunion of Champions" (now streaming on Tubi and Amazon),and "Girl Code". He has also appeared in numerous projects for Dhar Mann Studios, playing a variety of roles for global audiences to enjoy.
