John Dumelo, a talented individual born on February 3rd, 1984, is the youngest of three children to Mr. John Dumelo and Mrs. Antionette Dumelo. His primary education was at Christ the King International School in Accra, Ghana, where he caught the attention of GAMA Film Company, leading to his role as a pupil in the movie "Baby Thief".
John's secondary education was at Achimota School, and he further pursued his academic endeavors at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering. Throughout his academic journey, John demonstrated his passion for the arts, and it wasn't long before he started making a name for himself in the film industry.
His television series credits include "Sun City" and "About To Wed", and his filmography boasts over 80 movies, featuring alongside notable actors such as Ramsey Noah, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Ini Edo, Jackie Appiah, Majid Michel, and Nadia Buari. John's remarkable performances have earned him numerous accolades, including Joy FM's Best Ghanaian Actor in 2009 and Africa's Most Outstanding Actor in 2011 at the Afro Australian Movies and Music Awards.
