John, a native of El Paso, Texas, embarked on his academic journey at the University of Dallas in Irving, where he earned a degree in theatre, laying the groundwork for his future endeavors in the world of acting.

Following his graduation, John dove headfirst into his acting career, working tirelessly in various theatre productions, earning widespread recognition and accolades along the way. His impressive performances garnered him numerous awards, including the prestigious Dallas Leon Rabin Award and Dallas Critic Forum Award.

As John's career continued to flourish, he made the move to Los Angeles, where he has since accumulated a lengthy list of credits in the film industry. His notable roles include appearances in the films 'Walk Hard', 'Step Brothers', 'Cirque Du Freak', and 'Pirates of the Caribbean I and II'.
