John Autry II, a talented individual born in Los Angeles, embarked on his acting journey at a remarkably early age, making his debut in a Pampers commercial when he was just five months old. As he grew and developed his craft, John joined 'No Limits', an acting company catering to deaf and hard of hearing children, where he honed his skills and appeared in over twenty-five stage productions.
With a strong foundation in his craft, John transitioned to television, landing a role as Derek in the Teen Nick pilot Katrina. His breakthrough performance came in 2009, when he gained widespread recognition for his appearances on the popular television series Glee. This culminated in a memorable performance, where he delivered an impressive American Sign Language (ASL) and vocal rendition of John Lennon's iconic song Imagine, accompanied by the show's choir and cast.
John's extensive television credits also include a role on Brad Garrett's Til Death Do Us Part and a guest starring appearance on No Ordinary Family alongside Michael Chiklis. In addition to his television work, John has made a mark in the digital realm, featuring in the series FAIL, I Hear You, American Vandal on Netflix, and comedic collaborations with Funny or Die.
John is not one to shy away from a challenge, and in 2015, he took on the lead voice role of Leonard the cat in the independent comedy film Chatty Catties. His most recent endeavor is a guest starring role on the hit Fox series The Simpsons, making him the first deaf actor to voice a character on the show.
