Joe Rosario, a talented individual from the New York City Metropolitan area, has established a strong network of professional relationships with prominent feature film and television distribution companies, production companies, and talent agencies in both the New York and Los Angeles Metropolitan Areas.
As a producer, Joe has successfully completed three films, garnering a total of five prestigious awards, including Best Actor, Best Comedy, and Best Director, on the film festival circuit. His most recent projects include the feature film "Snapshot" and the television pilot "Desire", where he served as a producer and script consultant.
Joe's film productions have been official selections in over 20 film festivals, earning recognition at the Barcelona film festival, where he won the Best Director award, and at the Cannes Short film festival. He is currently signed on to produce and direct two feature films for 2014: "Truth", a psychological thriller featuring an all-star cast, and "Habeas Corpus", a true-life crime drama set in the 1950s to the present.
As a sought-after script doctor, Joe has written numerous feature and television scripts and has numerous scripts being shopped. He is also a respected instructor, teaching and lecturing on filmmaking, scene study, and writing at various film schools around the New York Metropolitan Area. Additionally, he is a visiting professor for the "Project Green Light" program at Monmouth University.
Joe is currently in post-production on the feature-length drama "Snapshot", shot in March 2012, and is also in development for a feature-length crime drama set in New Jersey during the 1950s. In television, he has produced two pilots, "Cooking with the Boys" and "Together", and has two reality pilots in development, "Tire Kickers" and "Jersey Barber".
As a member of the Screen Actors Guild, Joe has appeared in numerous TV series, movies, commercials, and video games, including "The Sopranos", "Law and Order", "Oz", "Sex and the City", "The Chappelle Show", and a recurring character on "The Late Show with David Letterman".
