Jocie Adams, a multifaceted American artist, has made a name for herself as a musician, vocalist, songwriter, and actress.
Initially, Adams was accepted to attend Brown University, but she chose to pursue a different path, instead opting to study for a music PhD.
Guided by her intuition, she decided to create her own unique sound, rather than conforming to traditional musical norms.
In 2007, Adams joined the indie folk band Low Anthem, bringing her talents as a vocalist, clarinetist, dulcimer player, organist, and pianist to the group.
Two years later, in 2011, she released her debut solo album, "Bed of Notions," which showcased her impressive range and versatility as a musician.
Following the success of her solo work, Adams went on to form the music project Arc Iris in 2012.
