Biography

Jochen Horst, a highly accomplished individual, concluded his academic pursuits at the University of Graz in Austria, graduating with honors in Performing Arts, Literature, and Theatre Studies in 1986. His unique bilingual upbringing, courtesy of his grandfather from Chicago, led him to pursue further training at the renowned Lee Strasberg Institute in London, specializing in various acting techniques, particularly the esteemed "Method" approach.

Subsequently, Horst resided in London and Australia for several years, simultaneously working on film projects in Italy, England, and France. His extensive experience in the theatre is equally impressive, with a notable highlight being the prestigious "O.E. Hasse-Award" for best newcomer in German theatre in 1989. Moreover, his outstanding performances garnered the "Grimme Award" for best actor in 1996, accompanied by multiple nominations for his film work in the following years.

Presently, Jochen Horst resides in Spain, having built a remarkable career spanning multiple continents and artistic mediums.
