Jillian Swanson embarked on her acting journey at the tender age of 17, securing her first movie role in the ultra-low-budget slasher film "Killer Campout" in her home state of Rhode Island. Over the subsequent years, she established herself as a prominent figure in the local New England area, taking on numerous low-budget horror shorts and feature projects, as well as modeling jobs. Not one to be limited by her genre, Jillian also made time to pursue more dramatic and experimental projects, including student films, mainstream television, and spec commercials.
However, it was her horror work that caught the attention of cult director Ulli Lommel, who subsequently cast her in the controversial horror feature "Killer Pickton" for Lion's Gate Films on the summer of her 21st birthday. Following this breakthrough, Jillian relocated to Los Angeles and went on to star in three consecutive features for Ulli Lommel and Lion's Gate.
Now based on the west coast, Jillian is eager to expand her repertoire and take on more dramatic and nuanced roles.
