Jill Baker, a renowned British actress, has made a lasting impact on the entertainment industry through her extensive work on stage, screen, and television. Born Gillian Mary Baker in Britain in 1951, she embarked on her acting journey in 1975 with a television movie appearance in "Savages". Since then, she has maintained a steady presence on television, with recurring roles in several notable series, including "Tales of Sherwood Forest" (1989),"Screaming" (1992),"Rides" (1992),"The Broker's Man" (1997),and "Fish" (2000).

Baker's impressive television credits also include her portrayal of Lady Macduff in the 1983 production of "Macbeth", starring Nicol Williamson, and her role as Lady de Lesseps in the Oscar-winning film "Shakespeare in Love" (1998). Her theatrical work is equally impressive, with a notable highlight being her originator role in the 2010 London stage production of "Calendar Girls" (2003),which required her to be nude at the age of 58.

In her personal life, Baker was married to the talented actor Bob Peck from 1982 until his passing in 1999 due to cancer. Together, they had three children.
