Jessy Schram's early life in Skokie, Illinois, and her subsequent upbringing in Buffalo Grove, laid the foundation for her future career as a performer. From a young age, she established herself as an actor and musician in Chicago, securing numerous national commercials, print campaigns, voice-overs, and musical theatre work, including the original role of Kirsten in the "American Girl Revue".
After relocating to Los Angeles at the age of 18, Jessy's success in the entertainment industry continued to grow. She accumulated a long list of acting credits, including leading series regular roles in Steven Spielberg's TNT drama "Falling Skies" and ABC's "Last Resort". She also completed major arcs on the popular series "Nashville" and critically acclaimed for her role as Bonnie Whiteside on the award-winning drama "Mad Men". Additionally, she played opposite Christina Ricci in the TV miniseries "Lizzie Borden" and is still beloved as "Cinderella" whom she played for and recurred with on the ABC fairy-tale drama "Once Upon a Time". Other recurring roles include "Veronica Mars", "Life", and "Medium", where she took on the role of a young Patricia Arquette. Most recently, she stars as "Dr. Hannah Asher" on the venerable Dick Wolf produced series "Chicago Med" for NBC.
On the big screen, Jessy has appeared in dramatic and comedic films such as the independent film "Shot Caller" with Lake Bell and Jon Bernthal, and alongside Finn Wittrock in "The Submarine Kid". She has also worked with the late film director Tony Scott and alongside Chris Pine in the action-thriller blockbuster "Unstoppable".

Influenced heavily by Jewel and Joni Mitchel, her sound is that of a pop singer-songwriter with a twist of folk. She has appeared onscreen through characters and productions, using her musical abilities, as well as releasing her own music on the side.
Jessy's passion and dedication have helped her gain respect as a role model to other aspiring performers and is actively involved in working with different charities, including visiting and caring for orphaned children in Baja, Mexico, through Corazon De Vida, and her work with the group Red Eye, which focuses on youth mentoring in Watts.
