Throughout her career, Jessica has made a name for herself by writing, producing, and directing numerous projects that have garnered widespread recognition and accolades. In 2016, her full-length play Laura earned her a second-place award at the Ebell of Los Angeles Playwright Prize. The following year, she was honored with a Breaking Boundaries - Visionary Women's Award for her impactful work on the bilingual web series Lost Memories, a narrative that explores the complexities of Alzheimer's disease.
In 2018, Jessica's anthology series In Absentia, which she wrote, produced, and directed alongside her partner and husband, Ethan Kogan, received three nominations from the International Academy of Web Television, including Best Writing, Best Directing, and Best Drama Series. Since its release, In Absentia has toured numerous international film festivals, earning over 20 nominations and awards, including a Best Writing nomination at the esteemed Raindance Film Festival in London, England.
