Jessica is a multi-award-winning creator whose films have achieved international success, broadcasting on prominent networks such as the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and Amazon Prime, and continue to thrive on multiple global streaming platforms.
As a recipient of the 2021 Women in Film Screenplay Award from the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival, Jessica's film SARA will make its world premiere at HollyShorts in August 2023. Additionally, she received Fiscal Sponsorship from Stowe StoryLabs, where she is an alumna of the program.
Jessica's filmmaking journey began with her participation in the 10th Narrative Lab and Feature Campus, where she showcased her first feature, CONCRETE MARSHMALLOW. This fall, she will return to Stowe StoryLabs for their annual writer's retreat.
Jessica's impressive credentials also include being featured on Coverfly's Red List, a prestigious recognition of her work. She is a graduate of The Neighborhood Playhouse, where she had the opportunity to work closely with renowned director Terry Schreiber.
As a professional, Jessica is a proud member of the Union of British Columbia Performers (UBCP/ACTRA) and the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television. She is also the founder of Hello, Darling Pictures, a testament to her dedication to her craft and her passion for storytelling.
