Biography

Actress Jessica Cameron was born and raised in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada, where she spent her formative years before making the bold decision to relocate to Toronto to pursue a degree in fashion at Ryerson University. Following the completion of her academic endeavors, Cameron made the significant move to Ohio, initially intending to apply her fashion design skills in a professional setting. However, a chance acting class and the subsequent development of a passion for the craft led Cameron to ultimately dedicate herself to a full-time acting career.

Subsequently, Cameron relocated to Hollywood, California, where she has since been cast in an impressive array of projects, including music videos, television shows, and feature films. Her remarkable talent and dedication have been recognized with numerous industry accolades, including an award for Rising Movie Star in 2010. Some of her most notable recent performances include her portrayal of Princess Areola in the film Potpourri, directed by Elliot Diviney, as well as her starring role alongside horror icon Steven Geoffreys in the feature film Mr. Hush.

Cameron has also had the privilege of working with esteemed directors such as Jim Wynorski on the Syfy channel film "Camel Spiders" and Jeff Burr on Resurrection. Additionally, she had the opportunity to pay tribute to her idol, Marilyn Monroe, by playing the legendary screen icon in The Black Dahlia Haunting.

In 2013, Cameron took her first steps behind the camera, directing and producing the torture film Truth Or Dare, which she co-wrote. The film went on to screen nearly 50 times worldwide, earning an impressive 34 awards. Cameron continued to direct short films, including a segment for a Blood Drive PSA, and produced two feature films in 2015, Utero and Save Yourself.

In 2015, Cameron embarked on an ambitious project, filming three movies while traveling across the United States in a motor home with a small group of crew and cast members. The team produced two narrative features, Lilith and Mania, as well as a documentary, Kill The Production Assistant, which chronicled the filmmaking process. Mania marked Cameron's second time directing a feature film, and it went on to win 28 awards, screening at over 37 festivals.

Cameron's third film, An Ending, is currently in post-production. As a testament to her enduring passion for the craft, Jessica Cameron remains a busy working actress and filmmaker, with a notable list of credits that includes roles in Steven C. Miller's Silent Night, the classic holiday horror film All Through the House, the gore-filled American Guinea Pig : Song of Solomon, the cult classic The Sleeper, the action-packed Run Like Hell, and the documentary Haunters, in which she discusses her love for extreme haunts.
