Jessica Boss, an American actress of Nigerian descent, was initially on a path to become a medical doctor, but a pivotal moment in high school changed her trajectory. She was forced to choose between art and theater as an elective class, and since her artistic skills were limited to drawing stick figures, she opted for theater, discovering a newfound passion.
After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin's film school, Jessica made the move to Los Angeles, where she embarked on her professional acting career. Her impressive talent earned her a "Best Actress" award in the feature film "Anonymous 616," which she also produced, and a "Best Film" award.
Jessica's personal and professional life is deeply intertwined with her husband, Mike Boss, with whom she co-founded the production company Boss Pictures. The company boasts an impressive portfolio of over 20 feature film scripts. Jessica recently completed her third feature film, "Unnamed," which marks her directorial debut. This gripping thriller is inspired by true events and tells the story of a young and beautiful Nigerian woman who, after meeting a successful female producer on location in her country, is convinced to pursue a career in Hollywood. However, her dreams of stardom quickly turn into a living nightmare as the producer forces her into sex trafficking. "Unnamed" is set to be released late Fall 2024.
