Biography

Jesse Pomeroy, a visionary filmmaker, made the bold decision to pursue his passion for cinema at the tender age of six. By the time he was fourteen, he had already written and directed an impressive five short films, showcasing his remarkable talent and dedication.

Throughout his high school years, Jesse honed his skills by working behind and in front of the camera for his school's local news program, further developing his multifaceted abilities.

After a brief stint at the University of Southern California's Filmic Writing program, Jesse earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film from the prestigious Art Center College of Design, where his thesis short film, "Candlelight", earned a coveted spot as a Finalist at the Worldfest Charleston.

Following graduation, Jesse embarked on a unique career path, moonlighting as a guitar technician for renowned artists such as Stevie Wonder, Natalie Cole, and Martin Page, as he toured the world. This experience not only broadened his creative horizons but also instilled in him a deep appreciation for the art of music.

Upon returning to Hollywood, Jesse spent several years working as a sound supervisor in post-production, during which time he wrote and directed "The Fire Inside", an Official Selection at the esteemed Fort Worth Film Festival.

In 2009, Jesse co-founded Mission Post, a post-production company that enabled him to continue working in the industry while simultaneously developing his debut feature film, "World Full of Nothing". Produced by his own imprint, Genre Pictures, "World Full of Nothing" premiered at the Naperville Independent Film Festival, where Jesse received the award for Best Feature Director.

As Jesse continues to develop two new feature projects and create educational content, such as the vegan-themed "Going Veg with the Plant-Based Dietitian", a comprehensive guide to better health through better nutrition, he is also overseeing the distribution of "World Full of Nothing" through his newly established Hillrose Street label.
