Jeremy, a native of Detroit, earned his degree in Painting and Comparative Literature with honors from Columbia University in New York, following which he honed his craft at the prestigious Actor's Studio.
As a distinguished artist, Jeremy has received numerous accolades, including Fulbright and Guggenheim fellowships, and serves as the artistic co-director of CABULA6, a performance and film company that was recognized as "Company of the Year 2009" by Ballettanz and "Outstanding Artist of the Year 2010" by the Austrian Ministry of the Arts.
Under his creative direction, CABULA6 has produced and presented work globally, traversing both film and stage. Jeremy's impressive filmography includes the award-winning feature documentary DEATH METAL ANGOLA, the six-part CRIME EUROPE series, and the short documentary MACONDO, as well as several short fiction films.
As a performance artist, Jeremy is renowned in Europe for his unique artistic voice and approach to stage and film, seamlessly blending emotionally charged personal narratives with broader social contexts. His recent trilogy, THE ANGOLA PROJECT, premiered at Impulstanz in Vienna and PS122 in New York.
Throughout his multifaceted career, Jeremy has worked as a dancer, actor, and filmmaker, presenting work worldwide on stage, television, and in cinema. Proficient in English, German, Spanish, and Portuguese, Jeremy's artistic expression knows no linguistic boundaries.
