Director Jennifer Venditti makes her directorial debut with "Billy TheKid", marking a significant milestone in her illustrious career. Prior to venturing into filmmaking, Venditti founded JV8INC, a New York City-based casting agency in 1998. With a keen eye for talent, she traveled extensively around the world, scouring the streets for authentic, real people to feature in advertising, fashion, and film campaigns. Her innovative approach to casting, which focuses on discovering diverse and overlooked talent, has earned her the admiration of renowned photographers such as Richard Avedon and Bruce Weber, as well as acclaimed director Spike Jonze. Venditti's passion for finding beauty in everyday heroes has been a driving force behind her work, and it was this same sensibility that led her to transition into filmmaking.
