Jency, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, embarked on an acting career in Los Angeles, where she spent eight years honing her craft before returning to her home state to rekindle her passion for the film industry.
During her time in Los Angeles, Jency produced a diverse array of short films, including the critically acclaimed "Madeline's Oil", "With My Soul", "Painted Parakeets", "The Verses", and "Seed of the Free", showcasing her versatility as a producer.
In recent years, Jency has taken on a new challenge, co-directing and producing the ambitious western epic, "Devil's Hitching Post", which has garnered significant attention in the film community.
In addition to her work in film, Jency has also been a key member of the production team behind the bio-pic "Blaze", directed by the acclaimed Ethan Hawke.
Currently, Jency is making a name for herself on the small screen, playing the recurring character of Vera Minder on the popular TNT summer series "Claws", a testament to her impressive range as an actress.
