Biography

The Soska sisters, identical twins Jen and Sylvia, are a dynamic duo in the film industry, known for their love of twisted film and their ability to push boundaries. Growing up, they devoured Stephen King novels and snuck into the over 18 sections at video stores to critique the bloody images on the backs of VHS horror movies and in gore magazines.

As they entered the film industry, they were unsatisfied with the stereotypical roles offered to identical twins and decided to take matters into their own hands. They trained in martial arts to pick up stunt roles and briefly attended a film school that included an intensive stunt program. Undeterred by their short film being pulled from the program due to funding issues, they decided to go ahead and make it anyway, getting a new cast and crew and paying for it out of their own pockets.

Their debut film, "Dead Hooker In A Trunk," was a massive success, winning multiple awards and becoming an underground sensation. The twins went on to incorporate their own production company, Twisted Twins Productions, and created their own label for future projects.

Their highly anticipated second feature, "American Mary," was a critical and commercial success, and the film has since become a cult classic. The twins have also been outspoken about equal rights, including gender equality and equal rights for the LGBT community, and have created several PSAs for blood donation.

In 2014, the twins brought a new life to the WWE Studios franchise with "See No Evil 2," and they also directed a segment for ABCs of Death 2, which was banned in Germany. The following year, they teamed up with Lionsgate and WWE Studios again for the action revenge thriller "Vendetta."

The twins have also ventured into the world of comic books, teaming up with Daniel Way to create their own graphic novel, "Kill-Crazy Nymphos Attack!", which is set for release in 2017. They have also collaborated with Marvel Comics, writing a story line for "Secret Wars Journal #5" and "Guardians of Infinity #8."

In addition to their work in film and comics, the twins have also hosted the survival horror game-show "Hellevator" on GSN, which premiered in 2015 and has since enjoyed a second season. They have also come on board to direct a remake of David Cronenberg's 1977 zombie thriller "Rabid."

As they celebrate their 8-year anniversary as a company, the Soska sisters have accomplished an impressive amount, including four feature films, two graphic novels, a series of blood donation PSAs, and a television show.
