Jeff Winkler's life is a tapestry woven from a diverse array of experiences, with no single thread dominating the fabric. His 23 years of specialized police training, coupled with an insatiable passion for travel and acting, have led him to a multitude of roles in various projects, including Realm, The Novice, Captive, Finding Carter, and Holey Matrimony, among others.
Born in Dayton, Ohio, Jeff spent his childhood as a sixth-generation farmer, surrounded by the rich soil and rustic charm of the countryside. However, his aspirations lay elsewhere, and after graduating from high school, he relocated to pursue his dream of acting, concurrently attending The University of Cincinnati's theater and Criminal Justice programs.
Financial constraints ultimately led him to put his acting ambitions on hold, and he instead embarked on a successful career as a police officer. His unwavering "go-get-it" attitude earned him a reputation as a high-achiever, opening doors to various specialized units within the department, including Homeland Security, Regional Narcotics, Honor Guard, Aviation, and Special Events details. His superiors often referred to him as "a true ambassador to the city of Cincinnati."
After two decades of dedicated service in the downtown section of Cincinnati, Jeff has finally returned to his original passion for acting, bringing a wealth of life experience and a unique perspective to his craft.
