Jeff Wiens earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting from the prestigious University of Southern California's School of Theatre, where he was honored with the Jack Nicholson Award, the highest accolade for achievement in the program.
As a talented comedic actor, Wiens co-founded the comedy duo Franco and Billy, alongside his partner. Together, they wrote, directed, and starred in the critically acclaimed IFC web series, Get Hit, which was recognized by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the top ten webisodes of 2008.
Wiens has also made a significant impact in the world of commercial acting, featuring in national network and regional advertisements for renowned brands such as Fedex, Lowes, Stouffers, Green Giant, Verizon Fios, NY Lottery, Jimmy Dean, and Ally Bank.
Throughout his career, Wiens has accumulated a diverse range of television and film credits, including roles on popular shows like CBS' Blue Bloods, USA's Burn Notice, ABC's Life on Mars, and VH1's I Hate My 30s. He has also appeared in the cult classic short film, George Lucas In Love.
As a skilled improvisational comedian, Wiens regularly performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City, showcasing his talents in his show, The Franco & Billy Show, which was selected for the 2010 New York Comedy Festival's Best of Sketch.
Wiens has also had the opportunity to tread the boards of various Off-Broadway and regional theatres, including The Mark Taper Forum, Actors Theatre of Louisville, The Utah Shakespearean Festival, and Indiana & Syracuse Reps. In 1996, he won a Dramalogue Award for his outstanding performance in the west coast premiere of Suburbia at The Actors Gang in Los Angeles.
