Jeff Miller, a renowned film producer and screenwriter, has an impressive track record of producing over 40 feature films and writing almost half as many. Born and raised in the Carolinas, Jeff graduated from Brookland-Cayce High School and later earned a Bachelor of Media Arts degree from the University of South Carolina.
Jeff's screenwriting mentor was James Lineberger, who worked on the film "Taps" for 20th Century Fox. Jeff wrote and/or produced several films in the Columbia, SC area before relocating to Los Angeles in 2001. In LA, he collaborated with director Gary Jones on multiple films, including "Jolly Roger: Massacre at Cutter's Cove," "Ballistica," and "Axe Giant: The Wrath of Paul Bunyan," which premiered on the Syfy Channel in 2013.
After "Axe Giant," Jeff became more prolific, releasing multiple films per year. Some notable releases include "The Burning Dead," "Clowntown," and "Edgar Allan Poe's Lighthouse Keeper." He also executive produced "Kill 'Em All," starring action superstar Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Jeff's achievements in the film industry have been recognized with the Producer of the Year Award at FearNYC Fest in 2017. Several of his features were released in 2018, including "The Toybox," "Ouija House," and "Death Kiss," which premiered at Texas Frightmare Weekend in May 2018.
In 2019, Jeff produced and released the thriller "The Russian Bride," starring Corbin Bernsen, which aired on Showtime after successful festival runs. He also produced and released his first western, "Once Upon a Time in Deadwood," starring Robert Bronzi and Michael Pare.
In 2021, Jeff produced the sci-fi adventure "Space Wars: Quest for the Deepstar," starring Michael Pare and Olivier Gruner. Later that year, Grindstone/Lionsgate released the action thriller "The Gardener," co-written by Jeff and executive produced with Mark L. Lester.
In 2022-2023, Jeff worked with notable figures such as Harvey Keitel, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Sean Young on various projects. In 2024, Grindstone/Lionsgate released the female-led action thriller "Dominique," which Jeff executive produced, and the sci-fi thriller "Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace," starring Cuba Gooding Jr., Randy Couture, and Denise Richards, became the #1 watched movie on Amazon Prime.
In 2024, the trailer for "Popeye the Slayer Man" went mini-viral, and the movie was mentioned on hundreds of sites and platforms, including CBS Morning News and the Drudge Report. The movie opened in select theaters and on VOD in March 2025 to resounding success.
